A space for artistic encounters
Located next to the thousand years old abbey-church of Romainmôtier, the artistic space AlmaM (ôtiers: soul of the cloister) is dedicated to artists whose practice is linked to nature and/or spirituality.
Besides summer exhibitions AlmaM offers artistic residencies together with concerts and conferences throughout the year.

ARTISTIC
ENCOUNTERS
With two large rooms fitting up to 50 people, AlmaM proposes original theatre and music performances following one moto : CREATE EMOTION.
For larger summer performance AlmaM has access to La Maison Des Moines which can host 100 people.
ARTISTS
RESIDENCY
A month-long visual art residency is offered every year. The artist is invited to create in situ to feel this unique environment imbued with nature and spirituality.
The work is shown throughout the summer at Espace AlmaM.
EXHIBITIONS
L’Espace AlmaM offers a 35sqm space exhibition with hanging and lighting facilities as well as a video security system.
Opening directly on the Café du Prieur, this space is of free access to incite the visitors’ curiosity.
The summer exhibition is opened daily from 11am to 6 pm.
